Daughtry - No Surprise
Few days ago looking for something on YouTube I found Chris Daughtry and his great voice. Really amazing, great songs, great voice, maybe a bit similar with Nickelback (their new album "HERE AND NOW" in Nov. 21), but anyway he's very good.

Dirty deeds done dirty cheap
Another one with Joan Jett
Really great voice ...
Joan Jett & Blackhearts - Crimson and Clover
Well, early in the 80's it was one of my favourites. She's 53 years old now, and she has 3 platinium/gold albums.
On March 10, 2008, Jett, as part of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was introduced by Tom Hanks and closed the ceremony with a song from 1964 "Bits and Pieces"
On June 2010, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts opened for Green Day on their UK tour
An amazing lady ....

Choosing The mp3 Player That Suits You
Basically, if you want to get physical with your mp3 player then you need one with no moving parts. In this case, the iPod is not what you want. You would be looking for a machine which saves it's music to memory.
There are basically three types of mp3 player. Hard drive based, memory based and mp3 CD player based. The hard drive mp3 players allow you to store thousands of tunes whilst the memory based version sacrifices music volume for freedom of movement. You can even get waterproof mp3 players! The mp3 CD players read the mp3 music from a CD which you have pre-burned.
So now you have enough information to know what type of mp3 player you should be looking for. Now what about capacity? How much music can you get on the various players out there? Let's take a look ....
If you want your music to sound good you want to be using at least CD quality mp3s. One minute of CD quality mp3 takes up around 1Mb. The memory based mp3 players have a top limit of around 500Mb meaning you can get roughly 120 average length tunes on there. But the top end hard drive versions go up to as much as 60Gb which is a whole lot of music - an anorak's dream :)
Another consideration is battery life. The hard drive mp3 players plough through the batteries at a rate of knots since the disk has to physically turn. The memory based option uses a lot less battery power. Many of the memory based mp3 players use the AAA size battery which is very convenient since you don't need a re-charger and you don't need to search for hard to find battery types. You'll find that most hard drive versions use lithium-ion rechargeable batteries and if you use your mp3 player a lot, your re-charger will be in regular use. Many people simply leave the power lead plugged in when they are at home.
An important factor in your decision should be the size of the unit. If you want to use your player at the gym or while you're out jogging then you'll want the smallest player possible. There are some really tiny models on the market these days. You will usually have to sacrifice some storage with a very small mp3 players but you can usually get enough music on there to have a good long workout.
If you want to use your mp3 player more at home then size will not be such a great consideration. The iPod is still a very compact unit and most people will be able to fit their entire collection on there. Of course the iPod is not your only option and there are many excellent manufacturers out there. Just be careful of some of the cheap imports you see on ebay, often there is no support for these players.
As a replacement for the home hi fi system, the mp3 player is becoming more and more popular. High fidelity purists obviously will never be swayed but to most of us the quality of the mp3 is perfectly adequate for our everyday listening purposes.
In fact many modern players coming on to the market have been designed with both portability and versatility in mind. What better way to entertain your dinner party guests than to have your mp3 player randomly selecting music from over ten thousand of your favourite tracks? No more fumbling around in your CD rack trying to find the disk that lost its cover ;)
Now you know what to look for, go get yourself a player and join the digital music revolution.

Computer surround sound speakers
If you like to go to the cinemas to watch movies you expect there to be a big screen and a good quality sound experience, in today's live there are a lot of people who knows someone who has a 5.1 system, or are searching for one to buy or you if you already own a 5.1 surround sound system.
There are a lot of people who own bigger surround sound computer speakers than in the movie cinemas, there is one specific surround sound system which are very popular under the people all over the world and that is the 5.1 system. This 5.1 system consist of five speakers (three front speakers, two rear speakers) and a subwoofer.
If you do not know how to set your surround sound computer speakers so that you get the best sound quality just read on, for the front three speakers (left center and right) should be placed in front of the TV/PC each one on their sides, the two rear speakers (rear left and right) should be placed behind the seated listener and the subwoofer can be on either three front sides, just remember to set all the speakers at the same height and turn all the speaker to the listener.
If you ever want to transform your surround sound computer speakers into a classy look you should think of buy stands for your speakers not only to improve the looks but also for the sound quality of your surround sound system, to experience a better movie night.
You do not have to place your speakers like I do you can rearrange them like you want, search for more ways to place your systems speakers, find your own way or combine some until the sound quality fits you.

How to Become a DJ - What Equipment You Need
So you want to learn how to become a DJ but don't know what DJ equipment you need.
This is a common problem for all DJs starting out; it's no wonder, as the variety and choice available these days is unbelievable and at the very least confusing.
When looking for your first DJ set up the trick is to keep it simple, perhaps most importantly you need to make sure you only end up buying once. By this I mean get it right the first time so you don't have to prematurely upgrade. The last thing you want is to get talked into buying some wiz bang DJ setup that when it's all said and done is crap.
Your first DJ setup should stand the test of both time and your DJ career.
Buying DJ Equipment - Tip #1 - Avoid 'DJ in a box' packages as they are often very basic and are insufficient for what you want, as a serious budding DJ.
Buying DJ Equipment Tip - #2 - Get advice from someone you trust, do your research and shop around. If you have the option, play around with a friend's DJ equipment first for a genuine feel of what you will be getting.
Buying DJ Equipment - Tip #3 - Second hand is always an option, particularly with quality DJ equipment like Pioneer and Technics, brands that are built tough to last in the club environment. They are also designed so problems can be fixed.
Buying DJ Equipment - Tip #4 - If you don't have money for the higher-end equipment to begin with, do not let that hold you back. Buy what you can afford and upgrade further along the track, when you can.
Equipment Needed to DJ
A minimum of 2 input devices – Depending on whether you decide to use vinyl, CD, or a combination of both, you'll require at least 2 input devices, which are generally either turntables or CD decks. You are only limited as to how many input devices you can use by the amount of input channels on your mixer. In order to put two tunes together you require at least two devices. Anything after that is a personal preference.
A DJ mixer – Used to control and mix the music from your first input device to your second input device. It is the control centre for your mix. Initially, any standard two-channel DJ mixer will suffice, but as you get better and begin to understand the different levels of sound quality and response you can get from its functions, you will demand more from your mixer. At that point you can upgrade as you require.
Headphones – Using headphones, you can listen, cue and mix the next tune without anyone else hearing what you are doing. Headphones are probably your most important piece of equipment, determining not only the comfort in which you will be mixing but also the quality of sound you will be hearing to conduct your mixes. The equipment you use is based totally on personal preference, but I suggest experimenting with friends equipment, or at least trying before you buy if possible.
Sound system – Either a home hi-fi system or an amplifier and speaker setup, although these days (depending on your budget) powered (amplified) speakers are definitely an attractive option not only for sound quality but for their ergonomic and sleek designs. I find them perfect for my home set-up.
My last tip! If you are serious about learning how to become a dj never stop learning good djs practice until they get it right quality djs practice until they can't get it wrong!

How to make your own ringtone from audio or video file
Prerequisites:
1. A mobile phone that supports mp3
2. A data cable
3. Free audio-editor software
NOTE: A Bluetooth enabled in phone will be an added advantage as you may then not require a data cable for file transfer
There are various audio editor softwares or ringtone maker softwares available online. Download 'Audacity'. It is one such freeware.
Now follow the steps mentioned below to get your job done:
1. Open Audacity audio editor software.
2. Choose your song or audio source and open the corresponding audio file from audacity.
3. Now edit your song in Audacity. You can easily cut the portion that you need using this software. Use the cut, copy and paste options to do this. You may also explore various other editing features available in audacity viz., multi-track mixing, modify pitch, modify speed etc.
4. Go to the 'File' menu once you finish editing the song. Choose the option 'Export as mp3' and save the file on your system as a '.mp3' file. This '.mp3' file is your ringtone.
5. Transfer the ringtone to your mobile phone via a data cable or you may alternatively use Bluetooth transfer to achieve this objective.
6. Now set it as ringtone on your mobile phone.
You can make a ringtone from a video using http://www.madringtones.org, just type or paste the address of the video file and follow the steps
